Tattoo After Care
I ALWAYS recommend Dial Gold non-scented, antibacterial soap for daily washing.
How often the tattoo should be washed is different based on body location and th amount of activity the client experiences.
I recommend once-twice a day for regular tattoos. If you work outside, are exposed to contaminants or sweat profusely, I recommend washing more often an additional 1 -2 times a day would suffice.
I recommend Aquaphor, Lubriderm or A & D ointment. These are gentle and very moisturizing. Apply a THIN layer after washing.

- APPLY VASELINE OR NEOSPORIN
- LEAVE SARAN WRAP MORE THAN HOURS

- WASH WITH SCENTED SOAPS
- GO TO THE GYM - unless otherwise stated.
SaniDerm/DermShield/Second Skin
Please leave Saniderm/Dermshield on for 5, if possible. The longer it sits the better.
Its completely normal to have some peeling on the edges, liquid build up underneath.
The benefits of leaving it on is that once the days has passed you avoid being itchy, dead skin flaking, having to apply ointment, daily washing.
You can also continue to go to the gym as long as none of the tattoo is exposed. This will keep all the germs from touching the open wound. Please continue to avoid the sun, beach and pool as water can still manage to seep in if its 100% not sealed to the skin. Sun damage will lighten the tattoo and second skin/sandierm does not protect against this.
Touch ups
Ink lightening or falling out is common and is easily fixed with a touch up. A touch appointment is a quick 10-15 minute session.
Touch ups are included free of charge within the first three months. Anything after three months is considered a rework and will be done at an hourly or flat rate depending on the size and amount of touch up required.
Booking a new tattoo design will either discount the touch up or I will include the touch up as part of the session free of charge depending on the amount of work that is required.
If you would like to add objects or cover an aspect of the design because you no longer like the design I can absolutely do that! But that would be done at an additional cost since both of these instances were not included in the original estimate of the design.
